Medland Street Closure- Monday, July 30th- Filming

“COVERT AFFAIRS”
Season III

NOTIFICATION FOR FILMING AT
Medland Street near the corner of Dundas Street West or Annette Street
SIDEWALK FILMING – BRIEF SCENE – MONDAY, JULY 30, 2012

Dear Residents and Businesses,

We are currently in production on Season III of “Covert Affairs” for NBC/USA network. Our one-hour drama is about
a rookie agent learning to navigate the bureaucratic maze of the CIA. We follow her around the world as she is
introduced to the danger, action, emotion and sometimes the absurdity of what it means to be a secret agent.

As a small addition to our workday this coming Monday, July 30, 2012 (at Post and Beam on Dundas Street, just
west of Keele Street) we are hoping to come by with a small group to film a brief sidewalk scene on Medland Street,
sometime between 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

This would involve about 12 crewmembers, 2 cast, 20 background performers and 8 vehicles (cube vans or smaller
– no trucks) the most essential of those parking on the east side of Medland Street in between Dundas and Annette
Streets, the remainder at the Green P off Pacific Avenue.

We would place a camera on the sidewalk of Medland Street near one of the corners looking south toward Annette
or north toward Dundas having our performers and background moving along the sidewalks of Medland Street and
crossing Medland along the Dundas or Annette sidewalks depending on which way we face the camera.

We would not have any need to stop traffic for the intended shot and once set-up should only need to film for 20
minutes or so.

We would like to place some cones out on Medland Street (with courtesy) for our equipment parking starting at 5am in
the morning and put out a few more cones near the corners of Annette and Dundas Street West and Lawes Street to
leave part of that clear for the picture. There will be an attendant with the cones who can assist with residents if they
find difficulty parking as a result, offering to have them park at the Green P over on Pacific Avenue.

In appreciation of the consideration afforded by the residential business community in facilitating this request we will
be making a donation to the Junction Gardens BIA.

Thank you for the time and consideration afforded in reading this letter. Should you have any questions,
concerns regarding our planned activities please contact me directly by cell at 416 725-0046 or by email at
