Given that some of the first human artifacts were combs, razors and ornaments, we should rethink our collective schema of the unkempt and wild-haired Palaeolithic man. I contest that personal grooming, attention to detail and the appreciation of fine alcohol and tobacco is not another epoch of man’s refinement but rather the epitome of any man who is properly aligned with his true nature.
